 Spamming, Isnt there a lot of spamming going on? |

Ive been seeing some stuff lately, especially in the ringtone section of the gallery. some guys upload alot of files, that have already been posted in there. reposting old stuff is spamming when we have the search function yeah? especially when it seems like they are downloading "old" files and uploading them in their own name.
Not adding anything new, just reupping stuff that is already on the site. Its cannibalism! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bann.gif) Also reading in the user comments i see some people posting other sites and stuff. .. Not to mention the classical "im first HEAHHAHAHA" "2. hsihfishfisaaa" etc.. I think and hope admins are looking at it, because if they didnt, with so many users here we would see a lot more spamming already. So what do u guys think about this? |

We are always careful for those things, and we have to be sure to know the difference between something 100% same, and something similar. Of course we do not allow spamming. As for commenting on files, there is a report function, so each member can report inappropriate comment/s, and after reporting it guaranties admin attention. This system is much more easier, than that admins look at every file in gallery and search for inappropriate comment/s.

whew
for a moment i thot sum1 complained against techno (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) well its diffcult to tell t diff in ringtones isnt it...two ppl can make tones for t same song and upload...but its entirely possible that the two uploads are different!! |

sven is right. u can use the report file feature. there are tens f thousands of ringtones in the gallery, so the mods can't know which one has already been uploaded (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

haha..with all due respect...
dream on (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) i say so coz in t old days techno used to get 250 posts per day t admins had to change rules to make him stop hes a monster once he gets goin (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) god bless him |

A user now has the power to control the comments on his/her file. This should help cut down this spam. As for duplicate files. If they are an exact duplicate report it to us and we'll remove the most recently uploaded (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) . |
