MDC August 2011
Welcome to the Monthly Design Challenge – the challenge for those who are truly passionate about design (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) For information & tutorials regarding the MDC please read the following link In short – this is a month long challenge where you will create something new and original, making every pixel yourself using Photoshop & GIMP only. Topic: Make 2 Mobile9 gifts Details: Make 2 gifts for any of the following categories: - Flowers - Fruits - Sports - Transport You can for example make 2 flower gifts or 1 flower gift and 1 fruit gift. You can aslo make more than 2 gifts but you are limited to a maximum of 5 entries. Quality above quantity : Remember that we will be repeating the gifts challenge many times in the future so rather spend a lot of time making 2 quality gifts. Admin will usually only add 1 or 2 new gifts at a time (unless they are really, really, really, really impressed with the quality of the entries) so the more time you spend on getting your 2 gifts perfect the better your chances of having your gifts used on M9. You will be required to provide a detailed multi-layered Photoshop psd file (or GIMP xcf file) for every entry. Only Photoshop & GIMP file entries will be accepted so don't even ask about using other software! While i was waiting for everyone to vote, I tried a little Alien Spaceship for the transport category ...
