Symbian personally, simply because I find it a more interesting operating system and it's growing faster than ever before. I already have windows on my PC, that's enough for me ;)

I've had no experience with Symbian, but I'm really enjoying the Windows OS on my C500.

If you like Windows games then this is the one for you - I've been playing Duke Nukem 3d recently, and it's a great conversion - also got conversions of Doom and Descent and Worms looks and plays brilliantly.

As a theming phone, the smartphone is easy once you've learnt how to do it, as to get a full theme involves manual programming. Symbian from my experience relies on the Nokia Theme Studio, which is slow to run on even the fastest of PCs.

If you want to be different, then the smartphone is a good choice. If you want to go through life un-noticed, then you'll be needing a symbian powered Nokia, and possibly a subscription to Jamster to get all the latest "real music sounds" ;)

contrary to mr windows above...symbian is a rapidly growing platform...i wouldn't wipe my arse with a windows mobile...my 6630 is already running itunes etc etc...and here's a plus point...it doesn't crash..something which you can't dsay about microsofts mobile bricks...sure..if you want a phone, plus a weapon..go for a spv, of a c500...both of which will do plenty of damage..windows mobiles are for those who love microsoft and rant and rave about them...there nothing special...how to spot a microsoft mobile owner? simple...look for the dude with glasses and ginger hair out shopping with his mum..even tho he's 35 years old....

Im pretty sure this thread wasn't started for personal competition......as much as i like the Symbian Os,you are not trying to say its faultless and never crashes are you?

Its exactly this type of comment that gives Nokia users the bad name they dont deserve. :bash:

Wake up and smell the personal uses and the opinions that go with it.
