i updated the driver of my bluetooth dongle into ver. 1.4.3 (MSI) but i still can't use my cellphone's HID function (use phone to control media player/powerpoint presentations)...

do i need a different software on my pc or something?

have you paired it up with your pc and enabled bluetooth on both devices?
maybe your dongle doesn't support this function.

yes... i reach the point where the phone attempts to connect to the pc, and then it'll say "bluetooth conenction failed. retry?" (when i choose yes, it'll attempt to connect again, but the result's the same everytime...)

the page where i downloaded the driver update said it supports HID...

from my experience, as soon as i have paired them and installed the software for BT HID i just turn on the remote control function and connects in a flash.

have you tried restarting your PC?
