use indian own brand tablet with android....like
iBerry Auxus AXO2 ICS tablet Chennai-based iBerry to all set to launch India's first and cheapest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet Auxus AXO2. The iBerry Auxus AXO2 ICS tablet supports multi-touch for pinch and zoom function, offers HDMI output, 3G USB modem for data connectivity, up to 32 GB of expandable memory via micro SD cards, mini USB support and gyro-based motion sensor to bring better gaming support to the tablet for games lovers. Priced at ~Rs 10,000, the new iBerry ICS tablet is expected to be available with major online retailers in India this month. BSNL Penta T-Pad BSNL has surprised everyone with the launch of its ultra low cost Android-based tablets. The company has tied up with Pantel, a Noida-based company, to introduce three new Android 2.3 tablets--Penta T-PAD IS701R, Penta T-PAD WS704C and Penta T-PAD WS802C. The lowest priced device in the series is Penta T-PAD IS701R tablet, which packs a 17.8-cm (7-inch) resistive touchscreen, front-facing camera, 1GHz processor and 256 MB RAM, expandable up to 32 GB via memory card. The BSNL Penta TPAD is modestly priced at Rs 3,499. The BSNL tablets are up for pre-order and are expected to hit the stores in coming days. BizzBook tablet Here comes another new contender in the low- cost educational tablet segment in India. Hyderabad-based start-up firm Bizz Group is ready to roll out six new Android tablets priced between Rs 3,200 and Rs 12,000 in the second week of March to compete with Aakash tablets. The cheapest of the lot, BizzBook B7i1 tablet will sport a resistive 17.8-cm (7-inch) touchscreen, a 800 Mhz processing speed, Android 2.2 operating system, and a battery that can last from two to four hours. Although it will be priced at Rs 3,200, additional phone calling will make the device costlier by Rs 4,200. Aakash 2 As the whole country awaits the arrival of Aakash, many of us have pre-booked the next upgraded version - Aakash 2. The Aakash 2 tablet will come with better specifications as compared to its predecessor, which sports resistive touchscreen. It is now supposed to carry a 'capacitive' touchscreen display and faster processor along with other upgrades. It is one of the most anticipated tablet devices, which is being awaited by millions in India for its launch and arrival. Reliance 4G Tab If recent reports are to be believed, Reliance is preparing to launch a 4G tablet PC in the Indian market this year. Reportedly, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has revealed its plans to launch 4G tablets with high-speed data services by the end of 2012. The Reliance 4G Tab plans seems authentic in the light of RIL being the only company to have pan-India spectrum to offer wireless broadband services on the 4G technology platform. Furthermore, the company is in the process of rolling out services based on Qualcomm's Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology, which is currently in the test phase. The Reliance 4G Tab is expected to be priced at ~Rs 4,000 in the Indian market. Spice 9.7-inch Android Tablets After introducing Spice Mi-720 tablet in the Indian market at a price of Rs 11,990, Spice Mobility is working on to bring two new tablets with bigger 24.6-cm (9.7-inch) display screen in India this year. Payal Gaba, general manager of marketing at Spice Mobiles, said, "We will be launching two Android tablets with 24.6-cm screen. Both the devices will be priced below Rs 20,000. One of them will have top of the line specifications while the other one will be a budget tablet". The Mobile Indian had recently reported that the 24.6-cm tablet is expected to be based on 800 MHz and 1 GHz processors from Mediatek and it is likely to sport Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Lava Tablet Delhi-based Lava Mobiles has also indicated earlier that the company is working on its new tablet device. "Lava will launch an Android 2.3- based tablet in February for Rs 5,500. It will be made available bundled with a service provider and will not be available as a standalone device," said S N Rai, co-founder and director, Lava International. The upcoming Lava tablet is expected to sport a 17.8-cm (7-inch) capacitive touchscreen and house a 1 GHz processor. Although the device was supposed to be launched last month, the device is yet to hit stores in the market. Micromax ICS Tablet Finally it's the leading local mobile manufacturer, Micromax which is planning to jump into the tablet bandwagon in the Indian market. After making its mark in the low-cost mobile handsets domain, the company has shown its indication to enter into the tablet market with the launch of a new Android tablet. The much anticipated Micromax Android tablet will sport a 17.8-cm (7- inch) screen, dual-core processor, HDMI-out and will run the latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). There is no official word on the pricing details but the device is expected to hit the market very soon. |
