Maybe you should integrate more about other HTCs, also.
There is an EVO thread which the "residents" try to starvate.
Perhaps a good idea to help the poor guy being ignored here.

perhaps they got a female advisor (IMG:http://emo.lostlyrics.eu/wink.gif) as some other htc names,
for instance, "dream", "desire" and "diamond touch" indicate. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grouphug.gif)

Hahaha, probably! I love this type of naming. Better & easier to remember than naming phone by model number. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

indeed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
at least they should be structured more clearly if applied -
e.g., with canon cameras you cAn derive the class already
from the numbers - monadic is highest and so on. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/byebye.gif)

Not bad, not bad at all. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/byebye.gif) Perhaps I'll purchase the Touch HD when
I'm about to prolongue my contract in July. Not even expensive then. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/10.gif)

In january it was still a bit high, indeed the htc desire first jumped my eye
five mpx like my samsung jet, as well amoled screen and android 2.1 already.

I'm not a very big fan of HTC but this one is gorgeous (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbs_up.gif)

was surpised too, when watching them closer for a first time last year
all their phones have ambitioned standards and are features packed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/byebye.gif)

Maybe the HTC HD2 (T-Mobile) is the best choice for me.
I want Windows Mobile (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) and a "real" browser finally. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/byebye.gif)

that's indeed my samsung's worst lag - no operating system (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
ah well, the next one for sure will have a fullblown firefox at least.

not precisely none, its qualcomm 800 MHz processor comes
with a proprietary operating system (rex-os), the rest is java,
but I better will cover samsung specifics in a dedicated thread.

after some time passed for gathering a bit more experience with
the htc incredible, here are the main minuses as the chief editor
of techrepublic, Jason Hiner, means to have collected:

  • Sub-average battery life - Sophisticated features have "their price".
  • Android fragmentation - Hardware vendors innovate at a relentless pace.
  • This means you might get stuck with an Android device that - in one year -
  • is lagging behind the latest version of Android by a couple version numbers.
  • Non-standard backplate - Cases made for similar HTC phones won’t fit the
  • Incredible because of the backplate. If you like to use a case on your cell then
  • this is an important detail, because your choices will be limited for this device.

In C't they said, the battery problem was due to a sub-optimal energy management, too?

well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
haven't tested myself - then again maybe they meant
the "bump-charging" which might need a polishing yet.
- in an extensive walkthrough I read, the phone should
be charged first while switched on, until it displays full,
after that switched off and charged again until "green".

is it a stunt or a feature, don't ask me before I tried. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

My choice stands. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Will get the HD2 soon. Just not sure yet, should
I go for its mini edition. Would cost almost 40 Euros more in the same plan. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/weightlift.gif)
